kickstarter for a new spiritual successor to Daggerfall.

A while back I saw an interview with Julian Jensen (aka Julian LeFay)

In which he was not opposed to the idea of trying to make a modern game like Daggerfall...if the money was right.
I was wondering if it would be possible to start a Kickstarter to try and entice him to do just that?
Share your thoughts on this idea?

If its going to be his project, then he needs to make the kickstarter himself.

I do agree but I was wondering if there was any way to gauge the interest that would motivate a Kickstarter

Well if a kickstarter does begin, we can help get the word out. That is what will generate interest.
