i personally think daggerfall is VERY playable to this day. especially with DF unity being available now. i personally love games with aesthetics similar to DF and DOOM . especially with the indie scene being primarily about pixels. i think a updated graphics set with hand drawn pixels would be amazing. not to mention all the bug fixing and mod support!
