Setting Your Forum Style

Post by Interkarma »

There are currently 3 styles available on the forum:
  • prosilver - base phpbb style
  • flat - fixed width grey flat style (default for guests and new users)
  • black - full width dark style
You can set your style using the following steps:
  1. Click your account drop-down (top-right) and open User Control Panel (UCP), or click this link
  2. Click Board preferences tab
  3. Select your preferred style from My board style drop-down and click Submit
Because these styles required a full refresh for latest version of PHPBB, you may have reverted to prosilver theme. Please use steps above to set preferred style for your account.

I really like the new "Black" style. Especially because it fits the full width of the screen! :D

Thanks for the new options and general forum updates. Especially the black setting.

May be this has been addressed somewhere, but is there something that I need to do for the forum to remember my login again? It has been a while since it started to lose my login info whenever I close all tabs with it open. :(

Maybe Firefox setting or old http bookmark? That solved it for a couple of others in a similar convo.

I use Chromium and have to log in anew any time I close the tab.

I don't really care though, I have a password manager so it's a 5-second task ;)

I'm actually using Chrome and my bookmark is to the site, https://www.dfworkshop.net

I always enter the forum from the link in the right side of the site.

Now, the funny thing is, I just entered the forum, and came to this thread without logging in. But when I opened this link to the other thread you posted, the forum in the other tab opened with me logged in. :o Reloading this tab after that, instantly logged me in as well. It seems the link to the forum in the main site is assigned HTTP instead of HTTPS, maybe? Because as I magically logged on, the "Insecure" message before the address in the address bar changed to a closed lock.

I agree, dark style is very nice - I've been using it since I joined over 3 years ago. It's not a new thing.
