I've added interaction mode icons to DFU, and I'm really happy with the info and talk icons that I created. I'm no artist but these were simply constructed from regular shapes. However the grab and steal icons really need an artist type to do some nice versions.

If anyone with artistic abilities wants to have a go at making better versions of these icons, please go ahead:

They need to be 64x64 and use the same grey.

I was just about to jump ahead, but seeing those icons... ...what's wrong with them? They look nice to me.

Of course in game things could change, and for consistency sake the rest of the icons would be needed for comparison.

Thanks, but I think they're not so great so wanted to throw it over to any arty types who fancied a go at improving them. Maybe I'm harder on my own art. :)

The other icons are in the repo next to these if you need a reference for comparison.

Are you talking about new mouse cursor effects that display instead of X's and arrows on the screen? (maybe a screenshot?)

Hazelnut is talking about the interaction mode icons to show if player is in grab, info, steal, or dialog mode. If you've played one of the recent builds, this icon is enabled by default so users can provide feedback.

For some screenshots, I cover them in this tweet below. Open up screens and look to bottom-left. First set of screenshots is "classic" mode. Second set of screenshots is minimal "icons" mode.

What Hazelnut is after is some help with the appearance of minimal grab and steal icons linked in his post above. :)

Just threw some icons together real quick for you.
I tried to keep the old Arena and Daggerfall icon vibe in mind when I created them...

EDIT: Updated with additional grayscale icons.

Ravenborn - those icons look fantastic! Would love to see them in game. Thanks to Hazelnut for making this possible.

Sure I will get them in game soon. WHat are the 3 pips above the mouth for / signify?

Have added these tonight and submitted a PR. Players now have 5 different options for interaction icons and I think that's plenty. Closing this request now.
