Yup :(
If I understand it right, cu90 was installed during the pre-requisities installation using python commands?
Is it worth a try to install some more recent cuda drivers?
Or the resizer only works with 9.0?

Thank you!

PS: Still ist a bit strange that older versions worked

I didn't change anything to waifu in version 1.07.
Seems cuda version is unkown in you computer (log tell that waifu needs cuda 3.5 and your version is 0).
Maybe you can try to install cuda 9.0 again, i'm not sur your gpu can use cuda 10

Google's new Raisr ai upscaler should be pretty perfect for this once it's finished

New? I haven't heard any progress from Raisr since 2017, and its results looked on par to ESRGAN. Have you seen any recent movement on Raisr?

How does shading work in Daggerfall? I assume the original game used lookup tables like Doom and Build engine. The OpenGL renderers for Build initially used multiplicative shading, but efforts have been taken to use shaders to apply shading through lookup tables as in the original software renderer.

Duke3D have fullbrights, those need to be processed separately. My upscale ignored those (because at the time, I defined them as hightiles which doesn't use the lookup tables) which I recently discovered caused troubles as certain pixels would remain unshaded (the Alien Armageddon mod uses my upscales as an optional setting, but implements them in a more complex way that allows for lookup tables to be used instead) so I've been working on that now. Are there any similar peculiarities in Daggerfall?

Thank you, very nice and clean :)
Its a bit different upscaling style than MasonFace produced, so Id still like to see what he can do - only for the sake of consistency of ingame art.
This one really looks great tho!

Im installing latest 9.xx CUDA, to see if it helps. Its version 9.2.148.1

EDIT: It helped in my case, Esrgan is working, waifu old prefilter is working as well, other waifu models do not work.
But its a step up ;)

Best results on this tab was with manga, but no prefilter, but yours is better, more sharp and defined
