Killable billboard NPC's

Talk about the mods you'd like to see in Daggerfall Unity. Give mod creators some ideas!

Killable billboard NPC's

Yep, it would probably break the game incredibly well like it does in others but come on. It was one of the first things I tried in Daggerfall. Any idea how this would be implemented if it possible at all? Is this something already planned as an extra feature?

You would have to make a sprite of their corpse, then just make it so they have a hitbox and an amount of hp, then make it so when their hp goes to 0, they become a corpse. You would also have to make it so interacting with them again opens up their inventory instead of dialogue, and make all related quests to that npc fail when they die.

It would also require to track the life status of all the NPCs in the Daggerfall world game data. Otherwise there'd be a lot of 'undead' shop keepers!
