Someone uploaded a video of Daggerfall Demo recently

Some interesting parts there and ofc a bit of nostalgia for those nerds who played it (aka me) Do you remember how insanely often is crashed? :lol:

What I appreciate is he showed The Bestiary Thats why I post this video,
Thats a feature which never got into a full release - and its a shame! I always thought it would be great to have Bestiary ingame. With maybe a better - more detailed - decription. You can see a very fluent animations of mobs there, something which was not possible to transfer to the final game :(
Anyway, let this post serve as a reminder, that bestiary might be a thing one day, hopefully!!!

Not a bad looking bestiary. Could be a cool idea for a mod, but the changes would be pretty complicated.....wonder if it'd be better directly integrated as an add-on to the notebook or something.

I've always wanted the ability to capture Inns and villages. The walls would make capturing cities difficult.

I don't wish to steal Midknight Prince's thunder here, but I saw he posted this on reddit


Gorgeous, if struggling on frame rate at times. I appreciate seeing heavily modded DFU even if it's a little choppy. Reading the mod threads is interesting but I don't get to play right now, so I don't see it in action outside of videos.
Things really got epic at the end with the lich. Turning around to see all those enemies, the epic music picking up...good stuff,

Yes, I was surprised by the end too, because I never did that quest...
I think it was JHMGX00? So kudos to Jay_H, that looked terrifying :)

Yes, I need to think up a lot of other really good prompts like that... Daggerfall needs many of these epic moments.
