Higher mouse sensitivity (Sorry if this has been posted before)

Post by MinerOfWorlds »

I was wondering if there could be a higher mouse look sensitivity option as 4 is (in my opinion) way too slow.

If you're experiencing frame rates much below 60fps, then mouselook will feel more sluggish (because the game itself is sluggish). If you open the console with backquote/tilde and enter "tdbg" (without quotes), what framerate are you getting during play? If this is capped at 60, do you experience more precise mouse movement with vertical sync disabled?

In any case, it's very simple to allow for higher sensitivity settings. I've set the cap on this to 8.0 now. This will be available in next round of builds.

Debug says it at 60fps. I just prefer higher sensitivity.

Edit:Vsync doesn't seem to affect it.

Did you notice I mentioned that cap will be increased to 8.0 in next round of builds?

No problems! I just wanted to make sure something deeper wasn't happening first.

I noticed also this build has a slower mouse. But, I have a mouse with its own settings, I just bump it up a notch and its fine.
