Custom weapon effects

Talk about the mods you'd like to see in Daggerfall Unity. Give mod creators some ideas!

I'm not sure whether this fits into the item enchanter or not. It may be of value to have some effects independent of the enchanting system, like how weapons can be poisoned in classic.

Some weapon effects could go beyond what classic offers:

1. Frenzy effect: each consecutive attack on an enemy increases your weapon swing speed by 10%. A blocked or missed attack cancels the effect. Stacks for up to 5 seconds.

2. Cutting wound effect: each consecutive attack on an enemy increases your weapon's damage by 1. A blocked or missed attack cancels the effect. Stacks for up to 5 seconds.

3. Root effect: a successful hit with this weapon has a chance to root the enemy to the floor, preventing movement for 3 seconds. The enemy can still turn, attack, and cast spells.

4. Slow effect: a successful hit with this weapon can slow enemy attack speed by 25/33/50% for 5 seconds.

5. Magicka drain effect: a successful hit with this weapon steals (damage/5) magicka from the enemy, granting it to the PC.

6. Fleet effect: each consecutive attack on an enemy increases your movement speed by 10%. Stacks for up to 5 seconds.

7. Effective attack effect: the weapon could be good against a particular enemy (ie: mummy) or type (ie: undead), granting 25% extra damage.
