I will happily implement a core option for this if Interkarma wants it. I agree it's an annoyance, especially since you most often need to loiter for 4 hours for a guild to open after travelling cautiously... it's not like it's never occurred to us, but the 3 hour limit is what classic had and I can only assume it was to try to give a sense of just hanging around but maybe it was completely arbitrary.

All the click reducer options are very popular and worth building in. And it keeps the mod section clean for actual, elaborate mods.

That would be fantastic if it were just an easy toggle option on the DF unity start-up menu. That way the die-hard traditionalists can keep it at the 3 hour limit if they wish, while others can change it to a 24 hour limit.

Yes, this seems to fit into the QoL category, much like the "click to attack" option. Having it an optional setting makes a lot of sense.

And it will be done since IK gave his blessing. I plan to add a slider to select max loiter time from 3h up to 12h.

@ShortBeard, I really respect that you figured out a way to do this yourself to scratch the itch you got for this aspect of the game. The way you did it is kinda hacky, but really very creative indeed. The fact that you just did it instead of just asking for someone else to do it for you is cool, maybe consider discussing integration ideas on here first before moving buttons off-screen though eh? ;) Anyway I really look forward to seeing what you create next time some aspect of DFU makes you itch...

That's fantastic news! I'm sure a lot of people will be happy about this QOL change. It took us 23 years but we finally did it :lol: ! Thanks, IK!

Also thanks for the kind words Hazelnut, I really appreciate it! In the future I'll try to dodge the reflection button high jinks (for now...;))

Beggars being choosers again, but would it be OK to set the slider up to 24 hours instead of 12? Either way, thanks to Interkarma, Hazelnut, and ShortBeard for making this happen!
