Re: Roleplay & Realism mod pack

Not much I can do about that, all I've done is attach an action to a set of model ids. If the replacements don't allow this to work, then I think it's an probably an issue with the models.

Galloping horses could be a neat add to this MOD 8-)

I've been always wondering why in Daggerfall my horse cannot gallop, but just trot.
I mean, if I'm on foot, if I keep pressed left Shift I can sprint, but if I keep pressed left Shift while mounting my horse, it just keep trotting :?

The best thing while you are riding a horse is galloping, why it's not possible? It could be very useful for crossing huge cities :)

one idea I would like to throw in is that while near a burning fireplace the chance of being interrupted while sleeping could be reduced

I realised something in my Mad Genius playthrough. The Wagons price needs to be balanced way up. First off it should be way more expensive than a horse since you get a horse with it! Secondly its such a important object, its almost like a house or a ship.

It should be 5-10k imo. Its such a important thing in games like this to have those kinds of key items to strive for, it gives purpose.

Yes that makes sense, might be even a core feature but I doubt Interkarma will be up for it.
If he isnt it would fit very well in this pack.
Great idea!

The cart horse is slower, in case you didn't realise. It also cannot jump. That's why the horse is a lot more expensive.. a thoroughbred is very valuable. Some cart horse not so much. Having said that 150 is very cheap. but it's a one time purchase so not sure I care much.

That's a great idea, as currently the difference of speed between horse and cart's horse is barely noticable.
And with this kind of increased speed froom a galloping horse would enable some good real time wilderness travel too, what the current horse speed does not make much fun if you're not using the tedious travel mod.

It's significant, but not enough for most ppl to notice. Basically it matches classic. Maybe faster horse would be a good fit for the mod.

For sure, a real horse can sprint faster than the one in current Daggerfall :)
