Re: Bad Higher DFU Attributes
So you just went in and hand jammed those stats?
This is probably obvious but how do I select that save using the DFU client? When I launch all I see are the characters I created but not the save I downloaded and unzipped.

You need to put take the "SAVE6" folder out of the zip file and put it alongside the other save games for your DFU installation.
The save certainly isn't compatible with DFU:
I assume Daggerfall had no mechanic for detecting when a skill was hacked to a 100+ value to bring it down to normal. The question is whether you can naturally reach 300 strength or speed or any other attribute. Hacking them with a save editor is a different topic.

How is the save "not compatible"?

See the screenshot. All values are dropped to 100.

Not when you level up, the cap is 200 with the mod active. All modded values show up during point distribution. Still don't see the incompatibility.

Yes, I was making clear that the change won't be compatible with DFU. 500 in an attribute does not transfer over to DFU even if it were possible in DF.

Re: Bad Higher DFU Attributes
Thanks for the information Jay_H I guess that if you rename it to modified it doesn't show up as an option in the load menu but if you keep it as save6 it does.
So with the mod you can modify save data to reach 200 on attributes? It is interesting that you can raise the skills above 100 which I think is a powerful thing. Any idea why those would transfer but the attributes won't?

Anyone using this with the most recent version of DFU? Does it still work?
