Spent the day mostly fixing stuff, working on color variants and dabbled more with the weapon variants. Not happy with the silver one at all though.

Phew! It's nice to see someone else tackling the art for once.... I just get to look at all the pretty progress!
(Edit: In reference to the art assets I work on! I don't mean to diminish the amazing work KoW or anyone else has done)

You seem to be doing fine with the portraits yourself, but if you wanted what I'd been working on:

Edit: I feel like it should be obvious, but just in case: feel free to use all of, some of or none of my art: paint on top of them, burn them in a fire: whatever you like.

Of course no offense is taken, don't be silly. I think it's amazing to get as many modders as possible to work on daggerfalls art and I do not mind if people post their stuff on this thread.
The original art is so small there are so many takes to deliver a modern rendition of it, and that there are so many files to cover. It would be absolutely silly to get possessive or jealous over this stuff.

Obviously all the work I'm releasing eventually is open source and free to use for all, but lots of my current work is based on your (Adrinus) and King Of Worms work. I do require that if they're used/redistributed that you two are credited, since currently 80% of the items I have done are based on the ESGRAN upscaled versions.

I forgot I have a conference to attend next week and this "joy" of academia requires traveling, so I won't be able to release textures like I originally planned. Since I update so much here, I thought it would be nice thing to say, since I won't be posting progress on Tuesday- Saturday. I am however continuing after that normally on the files.

Just a small note, the heads Adrinus was working on and posted here were upscaled by me - I dont say it to get credit - but because I made a mistake with naming I found out AFTER I pinged it to Adrinus some time ago. So... I will finish the cleaning of the outlines of some heads (in fact I did it last evening - just need to double check) - than I correct the naming, and THAN its somehow usable. I will pack it and send it your way, and u decide if u want that or not

EDIT: https://ufile.io/enhzj6y7 corrected naming, finished the outlines and got rid of some straight lines in the faces. But judging by the fidelity of your faces this seems of no use to you :lol:

Sorry for my mistake then! I'll take a look at those too then later when I feel like working on faces again.

I have now finished a version of all female clothes and an initial version of all armors. I spent today repainting some items , further fixing clipping and making a backup of all the files. Currently the texture replacements take up 1gb. :lol:

Bottom left is chain armor, I do not like the chain in it, this type of chain does not look good in it since It is so free flowing, so I'll be repainting it again sometime soon. Middle one is the (for now) finished Leather amor set. Top right most is mithril cuirass and bottom left is pieces from two separate elven cuirasses. Since daggerfall has so many variations of armor variants, I'm thinking of doing each armor as a stand alone set that can be mixed, obviously right now that isn't the case. I might for now first release original daggerfall styled variants, recolours. Gives me more time to consider and think about actual armor variants like the bottom left.

I've just tried this last face pack (unzipped in \StreamingAssets\Textures\CifRci), but my charachter still has got SD face :?. I think she should have the face that in the archive has got file name FACE012I0.CIF_2-0.png, but somehow it looks like the file name isn't still correct. Or maybe there's some other problem :?

I'm attaching the savegame, so you can see it too if you want.
