Download: Nexus Mods

Installation:
1. Open the "NPCHealthIndicators.zip" archive
2. Open the respective operating system build folder
3. Extract "npchealthindicators.dfmod" to your "DaggerfallUnity_Data\StreamingAssets\Mods" folder

This is my first mod for Daggerfall Unity (amazing project btw!), and serves as practice for familiarizing myself with the modding workflow.

This is really cool! This has been discussed several times recently on the forums, but this looks like it does a better job than ideas presented in the past. This is will be so helpful, will be in my "must have" list of mods. Great work Xorberax! :D

Really nice! Thank you! Is there any chance at some point the health display could be made into a gauge?

I might make a separate version with a healthbar. :)

A wild Xorberax appears
It uses 'NPC Health bars'...
Its super effective!

Nice mod, wont be using it myself but several people asked for this in one form or another so its cool to see it suddenly appear :)

Just released a patch (v1.0.1), which makes the health indicator accommodate for NPC height.

I'd wanted something like this however I'd like it to also indicate which foes are hostile or not towards player. That way there is less confusion if an allied foe attacks other that look similar.

Ooooh, something like the text color being green for non-aggressive enemies would be great.
I’ve never felt any particular need for health indicators for enemies, but a indicator for friend/foe would be great.
