I like the idea of adding tips to the loading screens. We all know Daggerfall is easy to play and understand, but many people haven't played it that much. ![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif)

I see, this is the way to do it then. I could use the opportunity and add an optional press-a-key-to-continue, like Dishonored 2 for example.LypyL wrote: All I mean is always display the loading screen image for a minimum amount of time (rather than frames). - As suggested by Lypyl, every loading screen will last for a minimum of x.y seconds
to avoid unpleasant blinking. Set to 0 to disable this feature. - (optional) Press-any-key-to-continue after loading.

When are the loading screens supposed to appear? I enabled them in Linux 61 but going into a dungeon and fast traveling didn't make them show. I have them on minimum 1 second to ensure I'd see them.
Also, the death screen didn't show, and the death video played when I disabled it. Here are my settings:
