pink buildings?

Post by lieu »

hi hi,

basically, the mod looks great. there's just one thing, and that's the pink buildings - all other textures show up fine. if I disable the mod, the pink textures remain; I have to delete the texture.dfmod file for the vanilla ones to appear.

I don't know how to retrieve the game log but I suspect it might have something to do with incongruities or not recognising textures since I'm on a mac. (though i downloaded the version for mac) someone else had this problem too, back in 2018, but on linux instead. their solution was to install the windows version instead and run it with wine, which worked fine? i think.

just letting it be known.

Could be helpful to say which mod you're having problems with, and maybe post in the relevant mod thread.

You're clearly running the Hot Pink Buildings Mod. That's a classic!

As for locating the log file, it is stickied in the Help and Support forum section, but I'll post a link here.

This indicates a material didn't compile or isn't present. If this only happens when using a specific mod, check you're using a version of that mod compatible with the game build and notify the mod author of the problem on Nexus or here on forums so they're aware.
