Repairing enchanted items?

Yes, zimmix, any enchanted item must be equipped (whether in the miscellaneous slots or as clothing/armor/weapons) in order to have any effect, including the Repairs Objects enchantment - see https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Enchanting_Items. And I hate having my equipment degrade, so I do the same.

I play enough (level 8 ) as battlemage . DFU 0.10.23

Magic enchanting item is useless for class who cannot wear chain mail or Plate.
Or you must Enchant 10 swords. two for one dungeon.
Thinking about hardened item potions...
