Slowfall+Levitation+Windowpassage+music over mod

Slowfall+Levitation+Windowpassage+music over mod

Hi
Few issues:
1. Slowfalling and levitation. When I cast levitation and I land on ground, when I embark on horse I still go slow, not sure if that is mend to be.
The more annoying is Slowfall - for example in Scourg Borrrow there are stairs under the coffin that one needs to jump through, that is impossible if slowfall is active.
2. Windowspassage - the recently DFU new continuous climbing addition is great future,but unfortunately going through windowpassages in dugeons is nightmare now. In original one needed to crouch and climb and could went through, now that is almost impossible.
3. I have Dream mod installed that comes with music build in. Generally music is great with few exceptions, I have found a much better version of few tracks on Nexus and put .ogg files that I like in Sound folder in StreaminAssets but the game still plays the track from Dream. How to solve this? And no, no + or any other strange characters in installation folder. Playing DFU under Linux.

Well, they're several ways, if it hasn't changed since then. It depends on details of game physics, so it's difficult to match exactly classic's behavior (and is it even or worthy goal? It was a pain getting thru those in classic): viewtopic.php?p=50961#p50961

I'm not sure if mods having priority over lose files is the expected behavior, but that one is easy to fix: DREAM is modular, disable its Music part in modules management.

What are the filenames of those OGG files? They need to have specific song names. I know DFU checks loose files for textures first so I'd expect it to do the same with the music files. Also double check the permissions, it's possible that DFU can't read the files atm and then it would revert back to the mod music.

Lastly, it might be worth checking the player.log file to see if anything shows up in there.

I have tried with: song_snowing.ogg
I have checked the permissions, they are fine.

That's the point, I don't want to get rid of whole Music part, just a few songs.

Disabling the DREAM music mod temporarily to see if the loose file is then loaded can at least confirm whether the OGG works or not.

Well, after turning dream music part I got warning from dream that is missing a part, but the .ogg song played. Now, how to make it a priority over mod?

That was a warning from your save game, not a DREAM mod. Make a new save after you disabled any mod, and the msg will not appear again when you load it.

How to make it a priority over a mod? Just delete or disable DREAM-MUSIC and forget about priority.

I checked the code and loose files do get priority over mods :/ when loading song replacements so I'm not sure what's going on here. I suppose putting the songs you want to replace into a .dfmod and loading that after DREAM's music mod probably 'fixes' it
