Unofficial Android Release for Daggerfall Unity

Hello!

I made a fork of Daggerfall Unity that implements Android support. It builds on previous work from marcospampi and InconsolableCellist, and I've added some necessary QoL like:
  • on-screen joysticks and gamepad buttons
  • on-screen keyboard support for input fields
  • mod support (though mods have to be specifically built for the Android build target)
  • Android-compatible UI for importing daggerfall arena2 game data

I know a few of you have been waiting for something like this. Please try it out, and let me know of any bugs I could fix or potential improvements I could make.

New Android release! Made the on-screen buttons have customizable positions and scales, you can specify the on-screen control global alpha value, and you can add up to 12 additional buttons (or remove existing buttons)

This is what I was waiting for a looooong time!!

I have some suggestions about on-screen buttons. Instead of using specific virtual gamepad button, why don't give it custom buttons with text or font/emote for it to be more flexible to add shortcut outside gamepad buttons.
I've seen this on classic Magic Dosbox custom on-screen button editor, where i used to play DF on my phone.

Also keep wishing modders will add android specific build mods πŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ˜”

Yeah that's a good idea. I've had similar thoughts, that you could add a button using any texture you select via the native file picker. I'll put it on my internal roadmap.
