Well, enough people are hitting me up on youtube about this mod, I'm back at it. I also need a break from the minimap mod, since I can't find anyway to detect what's causing the unity engine crash on it; I'll get back to the minimap mod after I rebuild this mod and release it again for 1.0.

I think this is connected to a oversight in the weapon properties text file and a blank/null error. One thing, the weaponproperties text file may have a blank line at the end of it, causing the whole mode to break. I didn't set a null detection code error checker, so if there are any blank lines in the text file, it will crash the mod. I've already fixed this in my version, and will have it in the rebuild I'm dropping for 1.0.

If you want to try a quick fix, go to the weapon properties file, in the streaming assets/mods folder, open it, go to the last blank line and delete it out. If done properly, there should be no blank lines at the end of the mod file/anywhere in it. If that doesn't fix it, then it may be connected to a bad mod setting issue I found in the raw version I pulled off my github and am rebuilding.

Either way, I think I'll have a rebuild and released version for 1.0 some time this week.

Just tested a fixed compiled version real fast, and launched and ran without an issue. Testing was for only a minute or two, so I'll try to get this posted on the github, so players can test it a little deeper.

Saw a video of someone using an old version of this mod (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95fKqPfrtZY); it's incredible that you've managed to add skill-based parrying to a game where combat was based on random dice rolls!

The only version I can see for downloading is from years ago; is this "fixed compiled version" you mentioned available somewhere? Thanks!

P.S. I saw you're also adding enemy weapon arcs; combined with making parrying directional you could end up turning Daggerfall into For Honor! :lol:
