[0.13.4] Former Student Part II, Baltham Greyman location issue
According to the UESP page on this quest, in DFU Baltham won't necessarily show up in the spot he's supposed to be in, which appears to be true since I can't find him anywhere in Direnni Tower.

I was just sent to the box, even after killing the fire Daedra and taking the box, I was just sent to where the box was.

Yup, I was the one who updated the page with that note, it greatly confused me at first so I had to use questdebugger to teleport myself to locations where he can spawn. According to the reddit post he can spawn right next to Medora, but he was in a different spot for me.
The problem with quest marker teleport is that it points at the chest itself, which is always at a fixed location, and not at Greyham's location, therefore you can neither teleport to him nor get a direction from modded items that show quest locations.
For now, perhaps updating the wiki page with documented and pictured locations can be of some help?

I'll move this to issues. Sounds like a problem with assigning resources to correct quest marker.
In DFU, quest scripts can use the "marker N" tag to assign a marker index for classic parity. For example, in S0000502 change the below lines:
Where N is the marker index in dungeon where resource should be assigned.

So two and a half years later running v1.1.1 and the quest is still completely broken, does that mean it's never going to be fixed? If it can't be fixed then shouldn't the whole quest line be removed, including part one?

I do not know what "completely broken" is. I just ran the quest myself on 1.1.1, and found him in the place indicated in UESP.

Yes, this specific issue was fixed prior to 1.0. If you need help with a quest, please raise your problem in help and support in its own topic.
