Project N - a.k.a. what Daggerfall totally *doesn’t* need? Ok, I’ll do exactly that!

Generally speaking, there isn't much of a distinction between TES. But MK's work is very much out of the general style of TES (Euro-centric fantasy).

Morrowind is the only part of the series that is separate in style from the rest of TES, while Oblivion is very close to DF in style.

I like Daggerfall and Oblivion specifically for the cozy fantasy atmosphere.

I think the biggest lore differences between Arena+Daggerfall and Morrowind would be Michael Kirkbride's contributions. Ted Peterson wrote most of the lore for Daggerfall, and his focus tended to be on the political struggles going on in Tamriel. Michael Kirkbride is usually more associated with expanding on the more esoteric aspects of Morrowind's lore. Peterson's biggest influence was Medieval English literature while Kirkbride's biggest influence was Hindu and eastern literature. I know I'm probably simplifying things.
