Corrupted save.... Deleting QuestData.txt not helping

sigh... Now what? Both my current and backup got corrupted. They just hang on the save-loading screen, even though I can hear my weapon swining around.

Hello, I hope someone will be able to help you. The developers won't be able to debug a problem with mods, as they can only help with unmodded DFU (viewtopic.php?t=6245). But if someone else wants to offer help, they are free to.

Ya, I saw the sticky that mods can't be debugged, which is totally fair, but Google brought me here when I searched for corrupted save issues, and Interkarma had assisted some other poor soul in recovering his save despite that guy having mods installed...

My only hope is that we can effectively ignore the mods, because the mod list ISN'T malfunctioning for other, older saves (further far back thatn I'd like to restart, have to start making one every game morning).

I forced a fix. Manually opened the SaveData.txt file and changed my location to Exterior, which loaded but had me falling through the void, then futzed with Fast Travel to reset my posiiton and commands get back my wagon (don't actually remember how I managed that).

Anyway, got it fixed. Except now I don't seem to have ground textures loading. Unless that's just snow...
