Difficulty with texture replacing, as a user/player

I didn't mean to come off the wrong way if you got that impression. You are right to ask and I thought pointing you to Daggerfall imaging 2 would help. For example, sorry I only looked at the spell icons quickly last time, they are actually
all in one image, at least in the original game files: ICON00I0.IMG

To change a icon or more you need to have them in this file and rename it ICON00I0.IMG.PNG, then put the png in the
img folder. Unless one of the mods you are using change the the default icon path, (if it's possible, I don't know that
much yet in that area) where the game looks for them but only these mods authors can help you with that, especially if
their files are packed in dfmod format.

Try it and you will understand better how to import images as loose files in the StreamingAssets with the tutorial that
King of Worms pointed you to.
With Dfmod however, problem is you can't tell what the authors did unless they explained, or provided their modded
source files.

Dont worry! Maybe its because u need the txt file as well.

I dont remember exactly but when u open the TXT u will see...
I think u just fill in the correct things in this part and the rest will be created automatically

Just make the naming same as the PNG file with the actual icons, fill in number of rows, number of icons and that should be somehow it

haha Yeah, no kidding. After modding it heavily enough it actually becomes a good game! With bad writing and NPCs I wish would shut up, but a good game.

I have this weird habit of leaping back and forth between DFU, Oblivion, and Skyrim at a whim, though. Somehow, as much as I love it, I never get as big an urge to go back to Morrowind these days. I AM looking forward to that Unity port of Arena, if dude finishes it.

I hope for many years, he finishes the Arena port its the only TES game Ive never properly played, as it was extremely clunky on DOSbox, and unstable. I think the game is hard core and not sure I will enjoy playing it, but IF he finishes the port, I will finish the game, no matter what!
