Some of you may know that there was an image of a wizard conjuring Bethesda's logo on their website front page back around the time Daggerfall came out (1995-1996). A scaled-down version of the image was shown upon exit from the early demo of the game:

Unfortunately, the Wayback Machine has not preserved this image, and for a long time we were only finding low-quality snapshots of Bethesda's front page, but never the whole thing.

Today, I was using DiscMaster to look for something Bethesa-related and found what appears to be the real deal:

This was on a German magazine coverdisk called Chip that preserved copies of selected websites, including Bethesda's:
