yes I don't use any main characters, because these already get enough attention.

The quest will also bring four custom books, describing hikes in the countryside (they are just for flavor, but if you have Distant Terrain installed with a drawing distance of at least 3, you can also do the hikes as described):

Talos doesn't exist in Daggerfall, so it'd be Eight. But if you're adding in lore from future games, that's your call.

Bug: I talked first to Lyceum lady and then the Temple lady, and got the victory speech again from Lyceum lady in the temple.

Should be "save my life" (Courier in Distress)

After Courier in Distress, nothing happened. After some fast travelling my journal is empty and I don't know what's intended to proceed.

After Courier in Distress, next "main" quest starts when you are in Daggerfall City again at noon.

Alternatively, for a side quest, you may want to visit one of the banks in the city. There is a newspaper somewhere with a bit more than just the article on it

About Talos: Hm afaik he is already a god at the time of Daggerfall. It's not represented in the game, and there are a few discussions about him regarding the Warp in the West, but I think he was worshipped... but I can easily change that if it is too disturbing.

You'll definitely want a journal reminder for that. Cautious fast travel makes people arrive at 7 AM, and waiting 5 hours outdoors would be unusual. Players will want a guide to get them there, or a more obvious connection they'll do naturally. People also intersperse these quests with other gameplay, so they'll quickly forget it unless it's in the journal.

He did not exist in the game, but lore-wise I prefer to see the Elder Scrolls franchise as a whole. So even if not shown, he exits, like lots of other things not shown in the game but existing in the fictional universe.

In the later versions of The Real Barenziah (the extended one), it is even suspected that he had an affair with Barenziah.

Anyway, I will change it to Eight, to keep peace

There is a newspaper that states that.

But I noticed you get this paper only if you solve the first quest in variant A, not B (as you did). i will have to give this paper to the player also if you play as you did.

He does not exist until the Warp in the West happens, only after that did he always exist. It's basically Todd Howard strong-arming his way into the Pantheon because he feels left out
