(I posted this same comment on the nexus discussion tab, so if it's considered spam or being annoying, understandable.)
I really wish there was a patch for "vanilla enhanced" animated people. There is an HD variant for the walking sprites of that mod, but they aren't at all of the same quality of the DREAM sprites.
The mod makes static sprites have animations so to speak, like blinking, doing something with their hands etc.
Would be so sick!

Dream Sky preset for Dynamic Skies mod is on the way...
it will take some more time, but the major issues are mostly dealt with, thanks to the coop with Carademono. There were some improvements to the Dynamic Skies as well, along the way. The more notable one is, that now we can set the cloud speed according to weather. That looks especially nice with the Thunder sky, where u can make the clouds fly.. some weathers will be slower, some mid... etc..
The Gif is Cloudy > Overcast > Rain > Thunder (and back) Sunny and Snow are not displayed here.

Do you mind if I ask how you did the normal mapping on DREAM?

Unfortunately, there aren't any examples of execution. Are we required now to modify mat or XML files to pull in normal map sets, such as _Height, _Normal, and _MetallicGloss?

These materials are done in Unity. You dont do that as a loose files.
In Unity, create a material, name it as a texture you want to replace. So if the texture is 006_0-0 than thats how u name the material.
Than apply the albedo (texture) on a material.
Than add for example normal texture
Than Height texture
Set the strength of these textures
Set the reflection
And than u have one Basic material
You can also use Autodesk shader, so than u can also use Roughness maps
Than there are emission maps for windows at night
Just create a material (its a white ball) - and add textures to it and than experiment.
Than u create a DFMOD by adding just these materials to the file
Example of standard shader material: Example of Autodesk (roughness) shader material: Dont forget to also apply correct properties to the base textures. Esp compression, type, proper size, mip-maps, filtering etc.
