While wandering around Trogker in Daggerfall, I found a bit of floor that has a sound bug. I have attached a save game where I am standing on the floor in question.
You can see that there is a flooded bit of dungeon next to the save point, which means there is some water a short distance below the floor in question. As a result, it seems to me like DFU is getting the wrong surface for deciding what sound to play.
The problem is that if you run around normally on this floor, your footstep sound is the regular sound of walking on a stone floor. If you walk around on the same floor while crouching, the footsteps now sound like I'm wading through water.[0.10.22 - sound bug] Crouching plays water wading sound [RESOLVED 0.10.23]

To add one more issue with water sounds -
when you walk in shallow water, the sound is 2x louder than when you swim in the same pond in the deeper parts.
I think the louder sound is the correct volume.

For the different water volumes, it would be a good idea to find out if the difference is built into the audio files or if there is something in the code that makes them play at different volumes.
