Pretty sure it's supposed to reference Knights Of The Rose. This whole playthrough Merchants have given me popups about not wanting to talk to me because if a disagreement between the Merchants and the Knights Of The Rose.

The %pc macro does not exist in classic, it should have been %fpc. This issue is located in TEXT.RSC, I already corrected it in this PR.
