I was thinking if it should be GitHub or google drive through which to share.
Though I've rarely ever seen models shared as-is there.
But I may move over to GitHub in that case.

I do plan to share 'every' version of the models, and number them somewhat akin to semantic versioning, except appropriated for models.

x, y, z

Where z stands for any 'bugfix' that's a re-export away, fixing some faces, weight paints, edits to existing animations.
y for any larger changes like replacing some minor models that still rely on the same armature. New animations, new textures.
x for larger changes like new armatures, models that require armature changes, or even complete reworks etc.

Also tiger texture update, added claws but have not adjusted them to the texture yet.

I like it :) I wonder how the textures are done and if I could try to touch them in photoshop, just for fun and to see if I could help in some way? No promise it will be better than current version or that I will be able to do this, Ive never textured a complex model, but Ive made a lot of textures so Id like to give it a shot, if thats possible

I paint them by hand in my art program ^^. The textures look like an unwrapped lion pelt almost.

I can send you the exported UV's and my template. But it's always useful to also have blender to preview the textures as you work on them.

The tiger is mostly being finalized now with the animations.

(Should I add even more frivolous animations like sitting, chilling, grooming etc?)

So I'm sharing the next sketch for the next model wip, the rat,

The key features are big red eyes, gnarly teeth, shaggy fur, dummy thick.

Update for today.
Rat with furry texture wip. The ears I am not fond of, neither the fur strands. But if I squint my eyes it looks 'fine.'
We'll see later how it goes, should work fine as the first reference layer over which to paint.

The Daggerfall proper rat seems to have long 'bendy' ears, I may make the ears look like that more, right now they're rounded, because it looked best atm.
And some teeth are still missing.
Anyway, progress!

Looks nice, I liked the nose hair on the sketch (top left) tho. Such a detail was not possible in the low res sprite, but it might be nice on a HD model?

Thanks, guys, I'm slowly chugging along lol.

You're right! Whiskers are such a small detail to forget. I should give them to the sabre too.

Loving it. This with Dream will help give DFU a much more modern feel. I can't wait to see it all in game.

Can I ask, how is the skeleton system going to work? I'm curious, once we get 3d model NPC's, can I update my combat mods to detect locations of hits using the 3d model skeleton or something else, so we can have more realistic injury combat system?
