Any idea if this will work on Steam Deck? Would be freaking amazing though.

It should work fine. It's a Linux OS so you could run the native Linux version.

I wonder how well the controls work. Can you use the face buttons, analog sticks, R1/R2, etc in the game. DU had some sort of controller support i think.

It'll be the same as Steam where you can bind anything to anything. That said, you make a good point. I was just thinking about actual compatibility to run the game, not how one would bind all those keyboard controls.
