Nice progress. Were the issues with DREAM corrected? It has some of those in the past, but I forgot which. Some slowdowns and some frames were rendered darker, if I remember correctly

EDIT: so the DREAM issue are still there
1) the animations are playing very slowly, one frame in one second
2) when u turn the mob to the right, the sprites get very dark
when turning to the left, it looks all right
3) have not checked if the missing frames are corrected, as it does not matter much in this state of things currently

Just letting you know about these longstanding issues, in case you would like to take a look into it.

You can set the animation speed in settings. Next version will lower the timeframe limit. Currently it's 30.

Version 2.0 Released (made by Jagget)
  • All credit goes to Jagget. He did all the work.
  • Reworked text database
  • Reworked page rendering
  • Check if Humanoid
  • Vampires could also carry the book
  • The chance of spawn is lower now
  • Makes the mod updatable from other mods. (No need to built-in support for Unleveled Spells)
  • Fixed the darkened monster textures.
  • Added text color settings (for alternative skins)
  • PR

Well it still has significant performance issues, I guess u aware of that. Run it with dream and MSI afterburner so u can see the performance. When u rotate the mob to some possitions, which trigger some code (mirroring or what ever it is) it just destroys the PC, drops to 30 fps etc.

Only way to somehow make it less apparent is to set the framerate of the MOBs to something neutral, so the stuttering parts look a bit similar to non-stuttering parts. But its kind of impossible. I get it that its somehow not easy at all to solve it, fingers crossed you will make it.

I think we cant force it with stronger HW, my 5800x3d is not that bad...
