Any mod that implements the stat limits for skills?

Every skill in Daggerfall is associated with an attribute, e.g. Lockpicking -> Intelligence. These associations have no effect at all in the game, but I think originally the stat was supposed to act as a limiter to how high the skill could climb, so if I have 50 int I can't advance past 50 Lockpicking.

Is there any mod that implements this? I'm a little annoyed by my mage's weapon skills growing out of control :lol:

I doubt it, as the code for this is spread all over DFU and isn’t exactly an on/off switch.

The closest you will find is mods that change how the skill check mechanic works. Where attributes have a larger effect on the success chance. Successful skill checks generally lead to more skill gains.
