It helps when you're running with a terrain distance of 1 ;) That is good to hear though, it means people on lower-end systems that play classic atm can enjoy the DFU stability without it turning into a slideshow.

Thanks, I had been sitting on this for a while after reading the thread by I forget who, you posted in there too. Finally got around to tweaking it a bit more using that Sentinel avenue with the trees which made it easier.

Hey, this looks like something I've been looking for for awhile. For some reason DaggerXL draws a hard black line on my horizon that's really distracting, and this seems to create a gradually sloping fade instead. Would it be plausible to customize it for distance, like 1.5* or 3* Eye of Argonia? Not at all that it needs it, I think it's a shoe-in for my install as it is, but for like a happy medium: Taking advantage of the new engine while hewing to the original strengths.

I think you mean Daggerfall Unity and not DaggerXL?

I will see if I can add a slider to the settings to multiply the view distance the user chooses. It shouldnt be too hard.

I've added a slider to multiply the view distance up to 8 times, the link in the OP has been updated and will take you to the new version.
