Graphical Enhancement mods have some problems...

Dream with enhanced lighting and hand painted sprites(as well as other mods that add detail to certain areas and modernize them) looks amazing. With one exception, the ai upscaling. It looks worse than the original game. There is a way to fix this by just disabling the updated sprites. But this makes it so that sprites don't have the same resolution as the backgrounds, which makes the game look un-cohesive. I feel like this is sort of necessary since I feel like a lot of people(like jwlar) got into dfu by using dream but eventually just switched to a retro build because of how bad the sprites looked. The handpainted model replacements look really good, but they are only for bilboard sprites that have no animation. I see two ways of fixing this issue.
1. Make the sprites fully 3d instead, which will also help with the game looking more modern.
2. Have hand painted sprites for every animation frame.
These both would be so much work, but I imagine the second one being more work. This could do wonders to modernize daggerfall, and I know it would be a ton of work, but I think someone has to do it.
