Getting Spring and Autumn into DFU

Post by Ninelan »

I'll be a bit brief as I've got other things to do, so I'll just do a small exploratory thread for now. :D
I'm just going about scouting for ideas on how to implement autumn and or spring for DFU.

Graphics wise it seems no biggy.
Leave evergreens alone (maybe make their tips lighter for spring)
Give sparser canopies for deciduous trees in spring, and orange/yellow/red/brown canopies for Autumn.
Potentially add altered ground textures?

Implementing it evades me though. Graphically though, EZPZ!
I may make these textures regardless and drop them into DET.

With the new "low polly trees" mod which makes forest seem more full, this seems like it might be more capable. I think if the textures of the trunk is seperate than the leaves, then its possible. In theory. I think this is a nice idea.

The textures themselves are no issue, truly! :)
