new Daggerfall 0.15.1-Airships?

I am trying out the new Daggerfall 0.15.1. In the transport menu there is foot-horse-cart-ship-airship. I can not find any differences between the airship and the ship. Nor can I find a place to buy an airship. The bank seems to only offer one type of ship, not both. Is there a new mod I need here?
