Daggerfall Workshop Forums

I've often found, possibly due to security issues. That changes to Daggerfalls setup will not keep. I often have to manually edit the settings.ini file. Which I'm okay with. I've done it enough and its easy to understand. I'm not a programmer.

I would love to save my entire setup as a portable with the 1.1 version but for some reason it does not seem to work. It does not ask me for resolution on initial setup and does not ask for quality as with previous versions. I've tried the 'reset' button and it restarts but does not ask me where the Daggerfall files are at either. I placed them in the GameFiles as suggested.

I don't mind manually creating the contents of the "Portable.txt" file but I don't know what they are.
If the contents are as easy to edit as the settings.ini file is then could someone post them for me?

Portable.txt just need to exist, it can be empty if you want.

I don't know if this feature is documented somewhere, all I could find is its Pull Request
